Honoring Brandon's Light

We are taught to think of music as sounds, never silence. When silence falls, we are pushed to discomfort and sadness, and we try to fill it again with busy noise. But, without silence, we would not be able to hear the space between the music, and we would never be able to look back at a song and love it for its memory.

Brandon Wiesel was a momentous friend and a beloved musician. He was often the most prepared person in his band, and many sought in him knowledge and guidance. He never failed to learn when given the opportunity nor teach when he was able. His song will be missed.

Beautifully worded by Brandon's friend and former bandmate, Mark Meneses.

His heart was felt in everything he did, but never was it more obvious than when he was performing on the stage.
